We just got back from a beautiful weekend in Maine. I have never been to Maine and was excited to see all that Paul had told me about, he lived there for about 5 years when he was a kid. We camped in Acadia National Park and explored all the island had to offer. We hiked the park trails, drove the park loop, ate lots of blueberry everything (sausage, popcorn, whoopie pies, soda,) and even made lobster over the campfire on our final night.
After doing some exploring and talking with some fellow campers its clear that Acadia is great at accommodating both campers and RVs. Unfortunately the trailer was not ready for travel, but we explored some of the RV campsites that the park has and they were very nice. They have some sites with water and power hookups and others with no hookups. On our way home we couldn’t stop talking about getting back up to Maine with the trailer and spending more than just a long weekend up there.
